Three Securemedia Publishing Options:
1. OpenView (keyless)
- documents do not
need any activation or hardware/software key to play.
Use OpenView if you don't mind people sharing your
material (e.g. for viral marketing or loss-leader sales) but
want the content to remain uncopyable. Very simple,
product to use and deploy. No activation step, no internet
communication is needed to play these files, just click
and watch.
As a special order we can lock these files to USB Flash
Drive keys; which is the perfect product for your sales
team to take valuable sales/pricing media into the field
and keep it falling into the hands of competition. Keys
can contain the ID of each member of the sales team,
allowing you to enforce confidentiality agreements.
2. DirectView (software ekey activated)
- these
secure documents are cost effective to sell and control
anywhere in the world using advanced digital licensing
technology. These copy protected files need a software
key (unique 18 digit number) to activate and play on an
end-users' PC. Digital licenses cost between $3 and $5
per customer computer allowing unlimited number of
secure documents to be controlled.
This system is fully customizable, allowing you to add
custom messages when Securemedia is viewed in demo
mode (e.g. 15 day trial) or fully activated (e.g. 500 uses,
12 months lease or perpetual license). If you plan to sell
documents from a web site, a mini-shopping cart
payment system can be inserted to the Securemedia file
to collect a sales or viewing fee. Payments will be made
automatically to your bank account.
3. KeyPro (hardware USB key)
- KeyPro
protected documents need a USB type key to view
the Securemedia™ content.Distribute programmable
USB keys with protected files allows authors to (i) set
expiry dates or use limits on their content, and then (ii)
charge users to update viewing rights. Keys can be
updated remotely by email while the key and the content
is deployed with the user; where ever they happen to be
in the world. This is a special order item by request.
